The famous wife without a name!

Today I was entertained on LDS.ORG about the wife of Lot.  Here this gal is sat down and told, "okay, sis, here's the dealio, the city is going to turn to salt due to it's extreme naughtiness!" "So, get you goat-chee handbag (get it?) and take everything you need and oh, by the way, one BIG thing, don't look back." So they are walking and walking and going full force into their new future and the wife of Lot turns back. A seminary teacher taught that she just didn't look back, she actually started walking back and then was turned into a permanent salt-lick.  Isn't that how we are? We get motivated to go live the day, conquer our demons, undo the already dids, and then we look back and are paralyzed. Maybe just one more red-bull, one more chance for that person who doesn't fit, one more shopping trip, a little more time on facebook. Or why didn't I? I should have? If only…...and just like Lot's spouse, we are stuck again. So, just for today, let's choose not to look back. Let's just have a day that feels good, a day without regrets or sorrows, a day without living in the past or fearing the future. Let's choose to have a day without salt. Go and do.
