Southern Charm

Southern Charm...We are moving South!!! We are granny parents and decided to go on one last life adventure. We said, to ourselves and anyone who cared to listen, that we want a change. We have lived in our "neck of the woods" for about 22 years. We have seen what we need to see and did what we needed to do! Life is good here but without much boldness to our day to day encounters. WE found that saying our lives are mundane is DEFINITELY an understatement. We have been to our good ol' southern states and fell in love with the culture, people, style, life, food. We have a little family there right now and now our cubby boy is living out there as well.

We put our house up for sale in a sellers market. We dreamt of big cash, a fun summer of no work, and if worst came to worst a van down by the river while we looked for work!

5 months later.........we have a wonderful job but our beautiful house hasn't sold yet. We are hanging on by a thread. A very thin thread that is. We show our house ALMOST every other day, we have lowered the price, packed up most things, added a fence. But timing is everything. I won't be able to explain the last 5 months of stress and give it any sort of reasoning until I am able to look back at it. Often the review mirror effect explains so much of our trials. Why we had cursed blessings or blessed curses.

Any who, I will keep you updated on our journey to the Southern Charm of the Carolinas.

Go and do and don't get stuck down by the river in a van.
